This two-day series is designed to support you in the growing your practice beyond traditional group classes.
You’ll be provided with tools and resources to begin or sustain a home practice, including sequences for movement, an introduction to meditative practices, included breathwork, mantra and mindfulness work. Each session incorporates practice, conversation and lecture to ground what you’re learning. Rachelle will also share her favorite resources and books to support you beyond the workshop. This workshop is open to all levels of yogis without serious injuries.
*Limited to 15 yogis per session.*
Saturday, May 20th | 1-3:30pm
Movement provides an overview of the Eight Limbs of Yoga and gives context to the importance of movement within the system of yoga. We will talk about strategies for creating a movement practice at home and how to create consistency in your efforts. You’ll leave Session 1 with two sequences for your practice, greater understanding on how to put together your own yoga sequence, and observation tools to help you gain more awareness in group classes.
Sunday, May 21st | 1-3:30pm
Meditation moves deeper into ritual and meditative practices including mantra, pranayama, and self observation as a path to meditation. Move inward and unwind with a low to the ground supported practice.
