Lauren came to yoga in 2003 as a new college student seeking her center. She quickly came to understand the transformative nature of the practice and has been on the mat ever since. Lauren received her 200-hour Yogahour teacher certification in 2018 under the tutelage of Neda Draupadi Honarvar. But first and foremost, Lauren remains a student of the practice.
On the mat, Lauren is most passionate about the power of yoga to reveal the humanity within and among all of us. She believes that the spaces between poses have just as much to teach us as the poses themselves. She believes that yoga has something to offer for everyone.
Off the mat, Lauren is an attorney with a focus on capital and postconviction cases. She loves to talk about the law and social justice. You're likely to find Lauren spending weekends gardening or hiking with her spouse Brandon and their two dogs, Josie and Bowie.
