Join Rachelle for a four week series that gives you the time and space to explore one of the sacred texts of Hindu philosophy, The Bhagavad Gita (Song of God). This epic poem inspired the work of game changers like Gandhi, Henry David Thoreau, and Atlanta's own Martin Luther King, Jr.
Equal parts lecture, conversation, and personal inquiry, our weekly gatherings will support you in exploring central themes of the text like moksha (liberation), karma (sacred action), dharma (purpose), bhakti (devotion) and the nature of non-dualistic reality.
To get the most out of this experience, you'll need to create time for the assigned readings outside of class; don't worry, they won't be too long! No previous knowledge of The Gita is required. Upon registration, you will receive a welcome email with more information about the series.
*Space is limited to 20 yogis*
Thursdays, November 2nd, 9th, 16th and 30th
$50 for the series
